Spouse socials are such an integral part of the military community which is why we always like to challenge spouses to try one or two at their new assignment and make an effort to get plugged in. However, with all of the positive feedback that comes with this social talk, we also hear a lot of negative feedback – the socials aren’t held at times that work for a certain group of people (e.g., working milso, mom to young kids) or the event itself just doesn’t capture the interests for some. To that we say, host your own! At a time that works for you and doing an activity you enjoy! Who knows, hosting your own might just open up the door to a new milso friend that was waiting for an event just like yours to feel connected. To make that a little easier, we collected 20 different ideas to get those brainstorming wheels turning.
If you see something on here that inspires a different social idea, we would love to have you drop those ideas in the comments to inspire others!
