Davis Monthan is located within the city of Tucson, AZ. I like to think of Tucson as a big city with a small town feel. It definitely has everything you could possibly need out of a local area. Plus, Arizona is probably one of the best states to live in based on weather. The summers can be hot but the fall + winter is basically a prolonged slightly cooler summertime. It’s perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors. Welcome to the sunny desert of Tucson. I’m so excited to have you here! ☺
Things to know about Davis Monthan Air Force Base
I’ve adopted an active lifestyle full of hiking + exploring all the character Tucson has to offer. I’ve also gotten used to eating Mexican food multiple times a week! We are so close to the border it’s really impossible to find BAD Mexican food here. (Pro tip: the little tiny taco stands on the street corners have the best food!) Also since Tucson is full of little breweries, I have become accustomed to some outdoor patio relaxing while sipping on some amazing local beers!
