How To Get More Than 15% Off Major Brand Name Items

We’ve all been there, in those uncomfortable moments your first few times asking a business at checkout “do you offer a military discount?”. You wonder if you’ll ever feel comfortable asking that question. But then you learn about how you been missing out on the 10-15% discounts at your favorite stores all this time, and that’s when the tide shifts and you drop the shame of asking!

What many Active Duty military spouses don’t realize (trust us, we polled you all on IG!) is that there are brands and sites out there that offer discounts called “Pro Deals” that are major $$$ off of name brand items. These are usually only deals for professionals in the outdoor industry but also…for military. As we have experienced over the years with our PCS’s, there are many moves that require you to load up on gear that can be quite expensive and is, of course, not a cost that the Air Force helps you out with (hello, Alaska). It can be quite the burden on a military family so it’s incredible to find these items at such discounted prices. You have to go through a verification process to be allowed access to purchase form these sites but we are talking up to 60% off of brands like Osprey, Northface, Garmin, and so many others.
