Have you ever heard of Audible? Kindle? Or Apple Books? Probably! These are all paid for services that make books available at the touch of our fingertips for a price. Whether your thing is audio books or just having a new Kindle book downloaded at all times, it can be super convenient to have this entertainment on the ready at all times. But have you heard of Libby? Libby is an app by Overdrive which is an online library resource. The Libby app that has over 610k reviews and 4.8 stars in the app store. Amazingly, as a WAF, this app also can bring you everything you love about those other apps but FOR FREE.
As someone who could read an entire book series in record time, I quickly realized that this whole reading hobby was expensive! And now with how crazy my life has become, I’ve found it hard to find time to just sit down with a book. Audiobooks are where it is at for me, and I will binge-listen until I’m done with the book. When we moved to McChord, my husband brought me to the library on base to help me utilize that free resource. But even with that option, I dreaded having to drive alll the way back to base to return the book when I was finished! Now that I have found the Libby app, I don’t have to go through any hassle. I just simply sign in with my library card number that was given to me by the base library and I’m in!
