It’s here! Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) Graduation! Now we do not know where you are currently in your relationship with your soon-to-be pilot, but regardless, this is a major night worth celebrating! The dress code for military members is mess dress which means for any guests, the attire is formal.
A quick look at what to expect
This event is run ceremonially similar to an Air Force ball. If you haven’t been to one yet (neither of us had – so good training for your first!), there is typically a receiving line where you will meet leadership, a formal dinner, a remembrance of POW/MIA, and then the festivities will begin. In attendance you can expect, spouses, fiances, girlfriends/boyfriends, as well as parents, siblings, and grandparents.
What to wear
Pick something that you are comfortable with! We love how many options are available, no matter your style or budget!
