We are committed to being the change we’ve wanted to see in the Commanders Key Support Program. Since starting our journey as WAFs, that commitment is exampled by our own willingness to dive headfirst into being Key Support Liaisons at our respective bases. Along the way we’ve worked together and with other spouses dedicated to making this program useful for spouses across the globe by developing resources we think are helpful for squadrons. On this page, you will find those resources and how we’ve used them where we’re at to help improve communication and support for squadron spouses.

WELCOME INFORMATION PACKET FOR NEW SQUADRON SPOUSES

We love the idea of getting the spouse that just moved to the area all of the information they need in a way that doesn’t overwhelm them and this welcome packet is just that! You can use this template, brand it in your squadron colors, update the contact information, squadron information and add all of the unique things they’ll love about being a part of your squadron to share with new spouses. Best part? You can either opt to download your final version as a PDF and send it out via email to new spouses or you can toss it in a cutie welcome basket and have a Key Support Liaison drop it at their door (with a bottle of wine maybe?) when they first get to town. We’re all about meeting people wherever they’re at + making it as easy as possible for spouses to be in the loop!

ACRONYM LIST

We picked the brains of our WAF community and found these to be the acronyms most people wanted to know when starting out. Print this off and share it with your new spouses!
